My discovery of the keto diet has changed my life in a very positive way. I used to feel so cautious about myself because of my weight, this challenge I faced for many years before a friend told me about the Ketogenic diet. At first I was reluctant to even try out any other weight loss diet because of my past failure with other weight-loss diets. Finally, I decided to give it a try and that decision is a life changer for me and has given birth to this book.

Starting keto diet plan wasn’t a problem for me within the first few weeks, but as time went on, it became challenging, especially because of my busy and very tight schedule. This same issue is a major reason so many people have let go of their diet plan after few weeks of being on the diet, because they feel it’s difficult to follow through.  For some, simply the thought of time they will spend in the kitchen just to prepare a meal after having a long day at work [is almost discouraging]. And that is why this 5- ingredient keto diet cookbook is perfect and highly recommend for you as your no 1 diet guide on your keto diet journey. When you consume high carb food, it makes your body produce a substance called glucose and insulin which converts energy stored in the body for immediate use. The glucose functions to convert and use up the energy stored in the body, making it the primary source for burning energy. Insulin is then produced to help transport glucose around the body which is mainly important in fueling brain-function. This is where it gets complicated; your body being an energy burner does not need fat as energy, therefore fats are stored away in the body because of the unused glucose stored as fat.

When you follow a Ketogenic diet, what it does is that it helps your body to use up energy fast by producing ketones, a metabolic state called ketosis. Keto diet totally changes the way your body function in a positive way.

INGREDIENTS:

3 cups of boiling water

2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice

2 pinch of vanilla extract

4 eggs

4 tablespoon of coconut oil

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Blend together the pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, boiling water, coconut oil in a blender. Drink immediately.

Nutrition per servings: 335g Calories; 2g Carbohydrates; 31g Fat, 15g Protein.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

INGREDIENTS

4 lime wedges, for garnish

3 cups of sugar-free ginger beer

2 oz lime juice

8 oz of vodka

2 cup of ice cubes

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Pour lime juice and vodka into 2 copper mugs; add sugar-free ginger beer and ice cubes; stir together. Garnish with lime slices.

Nutrition Per Serving:  152 calories;  8.4 g carbohydrates; 0.5 g protein; 0.1 g fat.

Boiled eggs with Bacon Avocado

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Servings: 4

INGREDIENTS

Pepper and salt

4 ounces of bacon

2 teaspoon of olive oil

1 avocado

4 eggs, hard-boiled

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Heat up your oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Slice the eggs from the middle into halves, remove the yolks. Place egg Yolk in a bowl. Add oil and avocado, then mash together until nicely combined. Season with pepper and Salt to taste.

3. Arrange bacon into a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven, about 5–7 minutes until crispy.

4. Carefully spoon the mixture back into the boiled egg whites.

Nutrition per servings: 144 g Calories; 2g Carbohydrates; 13g Fat; 5g Protein.

Roasted Nut with Pumpkin Spice

4 tbs of confectioners’ erythritol sweetener

6 tbs of salted butter, melted
