CHAPTER I

Both LIFE and Its activities are GOD IN ACTION, wherever they manifest. Due to lack of knowledge concerning the way to apply the feeling-thought principle, human beings interrupt the normal flow of the Essence of life; Otherwise, Life would naturally express all its perfection everywhere.

Love, Beauty, Peace, Harmony and Opulence are all natural tendencies in Life, regardless of who makes use of them. Life is constantly emerging with its revitalizing drive to manifest its perfection over and over again.

“I AM”

“I AM” is Active Life. It is surprising that even the most sincere students are not always able to grasp the real meaning of these two words!

When you say “I AM”, deeply felt inside, you open the door to the free flow of Eternal Life; or, in other words, you leave the gates wide open to its natural flow. When you say “I AM not”, you are closing the door to such Mighty Energy. “I AM” is God in full action. I have placed you face to face with the Truth of “GOD IN ACTION” plenty of times. I want you to understand that “I AM” is the first expression -either by means of thought, feeling or word- of every single being anywhere in the Universe, which thus acknowledges its Own Victorious Divinity.

In his attempt to understand and apply these simple, yet powerful laws, the student must be aware of both his thoughts and words, since every time one says “I Am not”, “I cannot”, or “I do not have”, one is - either consciously or unconsciously- “chocking” one’s Inner Mighty Presence almost as directly as if one were actually throwing his hands around somebody else’s neck. When acting in the outer world, a thought may cause the hand to stop at any time. When there is a declaration of not being, not having or not being able to do something, however, some limitless energy is set in motion until the person himself stops it or causes such action to be transmuted.

This will give you an idea of the immense power in you to qualify, determine or decide upon the way in which you want God’s mighty energy to act. I tell you, my beloved student, that dynamite is less dangerous. A stick of dynamite will only make your body disappear, while uncontrolled, ungoverned, ignorant thoughts will keep you stuck to the wheel of reincarnation indefinitely1. In other words: unless a decree is stopped, transmuted or dissolved, it continues per secula seculorum, and due to the individual’s own request!

This is the reason why it is so important for you to understand what you are doing every time you use thoughtless or out-of-place expressions, for you will be using the mightiest and most Divine Activity Principle in the Universe, namely, “I AM”.

I hope the concept above is not misunderstood: this is not an empty, hollow or shallow idea. Neither is it an exaggeration. It is nothing less than the highest Principle of Life expressed through every civilization which has ever existed. And remember: the first thing that each self-conscious life form expresses is “I AM”, which goes beyond the meaning of “I exist”. It is only afterwards -having experienced the outer world and qualified certain activities incorrectly- that he begins to accept anything less than “I AM”.

Can you see now, my beloved student, that every time you say, “I am sick”, you are deliberately inverting the natural perfection present in the vital process? Can you not see that you are giving it a quality which is alien to it?

Due to ignorance and misunderstanding, humanity has filled the environment both with false and unreal concepts for centuries. I do not need to tell you, then, that saying “I am sick” is a blatant lie opposing the Divine. It (I) can only be Healthy, Perfect and full of Life!

Therefore, I ask you, dear student, in the name of God, not to use such false expressions in relation to the Divine, for it is impossible to be really free if you continue using them. I will never be able to emphasize enough the fact that when you truly acknowledge and accept God’s Mighty “I AM” Presence inside you, no adverse circumstance will ever again find a place in your life.

So, every time you find yourself beginning to say that you are ill, poor, or going through other unfavorable circumstances, I beg you in the name of God to instantly change that fatal condition for your benefit and make mental declarations using all the intensity of your “I AM”, since IT is all health, opulence, happiness, peace and perfection. Stop granting power to external conditions, people, places and things. “I AM” is the power of acknowledging Perfection everywhere and in everyone.

When you think about the expression “I AM”, it means that you already know God in Action is working in your life. Do not let false conceptions, expressions or comments continue governing your life, imposing a limit on what you really are. Constantly remember “I AM”, and, therefore, I am God in Action; “I AM” Life, Opulence, and Truth manifested.

Thus, by recalling this Invincible Presence, you keep an open door for the “I AM” Presence to work all ITS Perfection on your outer manifestation.

Do not believe that if you continue using erroneous decrees, they will somehow result in the manifestation of something good, because that is impossible.

In the countryside hot iron is used for branding livestock. I would like to be able to mark you in a way that keeps you attached to the “I AM” conscience and to the constant use of that Great, Glorious Presence which you are!

Should a less than perfect condition appear in your experience, clearly state that it is not true, that you only accept God -Perfection- in your life. Every time you accept something false, you will find it manifested in your life and experiences. And this is not about whether you believe what I am saying or not. THIS IS A LAW which has been proved throughout centuries of experience. We are passing it on to you today to make you free.

You know that people in the Western world fool themselves by thinking that the mere fact of disbelieving or denying witchcraft is enough to be free from it. Witchcraft is nothing else than the misuse of spiritual powers, the very powers used for good deeds. Nowadays, the worst kind of witchcraft -mental power wrongly qualified- is used in politics.

If this tremendous power were used in the opposite direction, that is, to remind people that God’s Action is present in each public officer, the world of politics would be filled with freedom and justice, and we would all soon live in a natural world, ruled by God’s Action.

As it was in Ancient Egypt, it is today: those who use their mental power are bound to disharmony incarnation after incarnation. State the following: I do not accept conditions from an alien environment or any other thing which surrounds me. Only from God, the good side, my “I AM”.

You need to get into the habit of governing your energy. You may want to sit and calm down many times a day. Quiet down the external being. This will allow for extra energy to be supplied to you. Learn how to direct and control it. If you want your energy to be motionless, stay still. If you need it to be active, start being active yourself. You have to be able to face the different events in your life and rise above them.

The student must be ready to recognize habits in himself. He must not wait for someone else to tell him. He must examine himself and do away with everything that is not perfect. The way to do so is stating that he does not have whatever habit he considers undesirable. Therefore, being part of God’s creation, I am God’s Perfect Son. This results in a kind of liberation which can not be achieved any other way. Keeping old habits is like wearing old clothes. And remember: do not wait for anybody else to tell you. Nobody can do that for you: you must do that yourself.

Everything which is old in an individual comes out to be consumed in this work, this teaching and this radiation. Before complaining about what you are experiencing in yourself and in the world around you, remember it is there for you to deal with it, for you to transmute it. Be careful not to focus on those things you want to do away with. Also, it is ridiculous to keep remembering things which just did not work out. Is it not wonderful that after centuries of imposing limitations on yourself, you have now the possibility to clear them all and break free from them in a short time through your own attention and effort? Is it not worth the experience?

The fastest way to achieve that is through humor. Humor lightens things up in a way that makes some wonderful manifestations possible.

If you invoke the Law of Forgiveness, every bad creation from the past can be consumed by the Transmuting Violet Flame, which will make you free. You must realize that the Violet Flame is the Active Presence of God in Action.

Whenever you have the desire to do something constructive, go right ahead. Make an effort and do it, even if the world around you is crumbling down to pieces; and do not worry about seeing the results, the actual manifestation.

Even if students know things at an intellectual level only, they must not let their minds go back to bad, wrong things, since such activity will only hinder success. It is incredible that people can not control this enemy. No student will be able to succeed until he stops coming back to the very negative conditions he is trying to overcome.

A Master’s integral work involves trying to make his student understand the meaning of “acceptance”. Whatever an individual agrees with in his mind, that is what he has accepted. If he focuses on one thing, he is becoming one with that thing.

He will identify himself with that, regardless of whether that is good or bad. When a person’s mind agrees on a certain condition, the individual is virtually decreeing that in his own world.

That which you attentively listen to or meditate upon, you are accepting, identifying yourself with, through the attention you devote to it.

Do you believe that a man who sees a coiled-up rattlesnake will deliberately walk towards it just to be beaten? Of course not! Well, that is exactly what students do when they let their attention go back to their problems.

Inner activity rules in accordance with the Plan of Perfection. If allowed to rule, the exterior will always be wrong. When a constructive frame lights up in your mind, it is a reality which, if kept in your memory, will become outer reality. It is possible to become so conscious about God’s Presence that His radiation can be felt -and even seen- running down oneself at any moment.

The student shows a great capacity to trust the outer world for things he does not really want. Likewise, he must force himself to trust the spiritual world for those things he does want. He must be self-confident and think: How can I use the instructions that I was given to intensify this activity?

CHAPTER II

ACTIVE GOD

Jesus said, “I Am the Resurrection and the Life”, thus stating one of the greatest expressions ever uttered.

By saying “I AM”, He did not merely refer to the outer expression, but to the Inner God and His Mighty Master Presence. For He repeatedly said, “I of myself can do nothing. It is The Father -the “I AM”- within me who does the works.”

By saying “I AM the way, the truth and the life”, He acknowledges the only Power: God in Action within Him.

He says, “I AM the light which enlightens every man coming into this world”, thus making an announcement of vital importance with the words “I AM”. One of the most powerful ways to free the power of God -Love, Wisdom and Truth- and put it into action in the outer experience is using the statement “I AM” on each and every thing one desires.

Let us now refer to the most powerful expression of all, maybe one of the greatest ever expressed in words in the outer experience: “I AM an open door that no man can shut”. Can you see how vital this is? When you fully understand such mighty statement, you will realize their greatness.

When there is complete acceptance of the “I AM” inside you as the Mighty Presence of God in Action, you will give one of the most important steps towards true liberation.

Let us analyze now the affirmation “I AM an open door that no man can shut”. If you can achieve that, you will get the key to go beyond the flesh and, taking with you the imperfect consciousness that you acquired, you will be able to transmute it, or raise it to the level of that perfection you have accessed.

I will never be able to emphasize enough the importance of meditating the “I AM” as much as possible, knowing that IT is God’s Mighty, Active Presence in you, in your home, in your world and and in all of your affairs. Every breath you take is God in Action within you. The power of expressing your thoughts and feelings is God, Active in you. You have free will, so it is up to you to qualify the energy that you project both through thoughts and in feelings, deciding how you want them to work for you.

“How will I know how to qualify the energy?” is not the right question to ask, for everyone knows the difference between destructive and a constructive thoughts, feelings and actions.

Once the student has had such instruction, he must constantly analyze the reasons why he is impelled to do so in order to detect any feelings involving intellectual pride, arrogance, or stubbornness in the outer mind and body. Should there be any attempts to object or somehow prove the instruction wrong, instead of receiving Blessings and the Truth, the individual will be unconsciously closing the door, and, for the time being, not able to receive the good offered to him.

I would like to remind students that, regardless of their personal views on what the Truth is, I have verified these condensed instructions we are giving you now throughout many centuries. If one wants to receive the highest possible benefit and obtain understanding resulting from absolute liberation, one must be ready to listen with an open mind; with the consciousness that “I AM” -God’s Active Presence in you- is your accurate capability to receive, accept and apply with no limitations the instruction, as well as the radiation, given. This will give students an understanding of these simple, yet mighty, assertions about the Truth, which will eventually bless and free them.

For centuries humanity has been told, “No one can serve two masters.” Why? Because there exists only one Intelligence, one Presence, one Power able to act, and that Presence is God in you. When you turn to the external manifestation and believe in the power of appearance, you are serving a false, usurping master, who only finds an appearance because there is God’s energy in it, an energy which you are using the wrong way.

Your ability to raise your hand, as well as the life flowing through the nerve system in your body is God in Action. Dear student, try to use this simple way to remember God in Action inside you.

When you are walking down the street, just think for a moment: “This is the Divine Intelligence and the Power having me walk, and this is the Intelligence telling me where to go.” You will therefore see that it will be no longer possible for you to continue without understanding that each movement you make is God in Action. Each thought in your mind is Divine Energy letting you think. Since you already know this is a topic which warrants no further discussion, why not just open yourself to accepting this Mighty Presence of God with all of your trust and faith, instead of focusing on the outer expression, which has been qualified and biased by a human conception of things?

Each form of outer expression is a part of life through which an individual learns -by own experience- about the true origin of his being; he then goes back to the fullness of the original perfection, as a result of the self-consciousness he has acquired.

The outer expression of life is an ever-changing picture which the external mind has created, pretending to be the true actor in it. God’s children constantly focus their attention on such outer appearance -full of imperfections, and forget about their own Divinity, which they need to turn back to.

God is the Giver, the Receiver and the Gift, as well as the only Owner of all Intelligence, Substance, Energy and Opulence in the world. If His children learned how to give -whether it is love, money, a service, or anything else- for the mere joy of it, absolutely nothing could be missing from the outer expression.

Unfortunately, out of selfishness, men insist on being in personal possession of God’s wonderful blessings, which has led them to condemnation. There is only one Love, one Intelligence, one Power and one Substance acting in each individual, and that is God. Each student should be warned against the wish to claim for power for himself and nobody else.

If God and only He were fully credited for a person’s actions, he who did so would be the witness of amazing transformations.

Rarely has the concept of supply and demand really been understood. Positively, there is abundant and omnipresent supply, but demand must be determined before the Universal Law lets it emerge for individuals to express and use it.

Since he has free will, the individual must make his request or demand with strong determination, and he will see how it will eventually express itself, as long as he keeps a consciousness deprived of weaknesses. If used with earnest determination, the following simple affirmation will bring him everything he may desire: I AM the great opulence of God made visible in my use right now and continuously.

Many students feel, however, that there is a limiting element. That is because they start up by declaring the Truth as they use the affirmation, but if they analyze themselves conscientiously a few hours later, for example, they will find some traces of doubt or fear in them. These two feelings naturally tend to neutralize the constructive power which would otherwise make the request manifest quickly.

Once the student realizes that every good wish is God in Action directing His energy towards its fulfillment, and that such energy is self-sustaining, he will understand limitless love, the power and the intelligence he possesses and with which he will be able to achieve anything.

This simple realization will completely erase the word “failure” from his world, and, eventually, from his consciousness, for he will see that he is dealing with a kind of intelligence and power which can not fail. Thus, both students and individuals will achieve mastery, which is God’s intention.

In all His Love and Wisdom, our great Father has never wanted His children to be deprived of anything. It is because they focus on the outer appearance -constantly changing as the sand in the desert- that they, either consciously or unconsciously, get apart from the Great Intelligence and Opulence.

Such great opulence is the bequest everyone can have access to, as long as they turn back to the “I AM” -God’s ever-present Active Principle inside us, and acknowledges It as the only source of active life, intelligence and opulence.

For ages there have been some behaviour rules which students need to apply if they are to achieve certain objectives. They involve the management of life force through sex.

For someone who has been using this energy without thinking about governing it, the fact of saying, “I am quitting this” with no real understanding of the right attitude of consciousness would mean a mere suppression of an energy flow that used to be directed differently.

For the student who wishes to govern himself, here is the most effective affirmation, if he uses it having a good understanding of it. It is Jesus’s Mighty affirmation: “I AM the Resurrection and the Life.” This affirmation does not only purify thought; it is the most powerful lifting and adjusting force that may be used in the correction of the biggest barrier for spiritual achievement.

Everyone who starts feeling the urge to correct this condition, and uses the affirmation continuously and firmly, will lift this wonderful energy current to the highest point in his brain, which was the original plan. The individual will thus feel his mind flooded by the most wonderful ideas, abundant sustaining power, and with the ability which appears both in expression and use to bless all of humanity.

I ask students to rehearse and observe the results in their bodies and minds. Feel Jesus’s saying deeply: “I AM the Resurrection and the Life”, repeat it three times -either in silence or in a loud voice, and observe the rise in consciousness within you. Some may need many repetitions to feel the amazing rising that others experience the first time. This is just a small example of what can be achieved if the affirmation is used continuously.

There is only one way to break free from something negative: once you know exactly what the mistake to overcome is, deprive it of your outer attention completely, and firmly focus that attention on the abovementioned affirmation.

The use of this affirmation can help you overcome any condition from the outer experience, or change the flow of misdirected energy. A student felt the impulse to redirect this great energy, and just making use of this energy only, he managed to make his body ascend. Within a year a wonderful transformation took place in all of his outer appearance. It is unbelievable that such few human beings can actually feel the strong impact of Jesus’s Teachings from all His wonderful words of wisdom.

No affirmation in world history has been greater than the ones that He taught. Consciously used, each one of those affirmations bears the accompanying radiation He Himself achieved. When you use His affirmations, therefore, you do not only have access to the “I AM” power, but also to His individual assistance. The true meaning of Master Jesus’s affirmations must always be deeply analyzed.

When you get to the point of understanding that your own “I AM” thought, feeling and expression set in motion the Power of God with no limits, you receive what you wish. It should be fairly easy for the student to understand that the outer appearance is just a distorted creation of men, who believe that there is a different source of power in the outer. A moment of reflection, on the other hand, should lead them to the realization that there is only one love, one intelligence and one power, which is God.

Human flaws or external discrepancies are in no way connected with the ever-present Perfection of God, for every single imperfection is a creation of human, outer conceptions. If men turned to their Superior Inner Selves knowing that That is God, that He is all Perfection and that the outer appearance is only a human creation arising from the wrong use of Divine Power, if they earnestly meditated and accepted God’s Perfection, they would soon see that very perfection manifested both in their experiences and lives.

There is no other way to bring this perfection to your body, mind and experience: only through the acceptance of the Great Presence of God in you. Such full acknowledgement will cause the outer power to project said perfection of God into your visible experience.

Tell students that I am teaching you -as a messenger of Truth- affirmations of Truth which will bring positive results if they are used with no hesitation. Metaphysicians know that Truth does not work if they make affirmations today and forget about them next week.

The wish for The Truth and The Light is the Presence of God in such wish, which projects into action.

To achieve enlightenment, use the following phrase: “I AM full comprehension and enlightenment of this thing which I want to know and comprehend.”

The day you open your eyes and see some of these marvelous Ascended beings, the bliss experimented will last for all Eternity. Unless you accept the True fact that you possess the ability to achieve this, you will never make it.

The very moment you say, “I AM the Resurrection and the Life”, all of the energy in you starts flowing towards the center of your brain, which is the source of the individualized being. I will never be able to emphasize enough how powerful this affirmation is. There is no limit to what you can do with it. It was the one Jesus used when going through His greatest trials.

You must know that when you use a constructive statement, it is God who is pushing you. It is the dumbest thing to ask, “have you been able to prove this through your own experience?”, since each individual has to try it himself or herself. Otherwise, it will mean nothing to them until they have their own experience.

Feelings carry a certain coexisting vision. You often feel it so clearly that you truly see it from the innermost spot.

As you progress towards the ascended state, thought, feeling, vision and color tend to manifest simultaneously.

Harmonious sound is quiet. This is why the most enjoyable music has a soothing effect, while noisy music is exactly the opposite.
